Spišská Sobota – Lopušná Dolina (13,6 km, 18 minút)

Zo Spišskej Soboty smerujeme cez Svit do Lopušnej doliny. Nenápadné, no krásne miesto, na ktoré sa viaže množstvo mojich spomienok! Ako dieťa som tu na svahoch prelyžovala a presánkovala celú zimu. Do doliny vedie užšia cesta ťahajúca sa popod les, míňame na nej cyklistov, ktorí tento kút veľmi obľubujú.

V doline sa nachádzajú dva lyžiarske rezorty (idú hneď za sebou). Sú skvelou východiskovou pozíciou pre túru na Kozí kameň. My však dnes nemáme chuť stúpať na vrchol. FIAT 600 nechávame v zadnom rezorte (domáci ho poznajú ako Novú alebo Zadnú Lopušnú dolinu) na parkovisku, obúvame tenisky, berieme ruksak a ideme sa prejsť po lesnej ceste popri potoku Lopušná smerom na Šuňavu (ideálna trasa aj na bicykel či bežky). Po ceste míňame majestátne vodné diela tunajšieho bobra. Pristavíme sa a pozorujeme, či ho nezahliadneme. Potok, ktorý má za normálnych okolností šírku približne meter, sa na niekoľkých miestach mení na veľké jazero. Stromy, ktoré sa kedysi hrdo týčili nad lúkami, sú dnes ohlodané a súčasťou obrovskej hrádze, v ktorej sa spokojne čvachtajú kačky. Chodievame sa sem prechádzať roky, bobor nám celú krajinu mení pred očami a je to jeden z najfascinujúcejších počinov, aké som videla. Bobra sme dnes nevideli, ale zážitok máme tak či onak. Mám pocit, že od poslednej návštevy je hrádza zase o niekoľko desiatok metrov väčšia.
